  IRIE IS OUR LITTLE ROCKET IN DISGUISE. IRIE'S PEDIGREE This is Irie and she is 10 months old at the time of this picture . She came to us on Febuary 21 2003 and weighed about three pounds. Irie came to us from a very respected breeder Lisa Steele at Heart Of Steele Kennels in Statesboro GA. Lisa thank you very much for this treasure. Her name derives from a Jamaican slang word meaning good , fine. Well , she is that and more, for Irie always has lots of extra energy and even though she is my smallest dog at at this point weighing in at 44 lbs, she is the proclaimed ring leader. Irie has specks of blue brindle, which to me makes her even more captivating. She is always the first to bark and also first to get into trouble. This beautiful puppy has absolutely no quit in her and the smarts to know when to. She totally loves exploring our 5.5 acre farm and swimming in the pond. She has courage for the entire family. Irie is a great example of an American Pit Bull Terrier .
