Adam Golding
(b. 1982)
Update: Ending a long silence, there will be an uncoming recital of my works. May 16th, 8pm, in the Faculty of Music, 80 Queen's Park, Room330 (Third Floor)
As you can see, this page is under construction. Its only real function is to allow you to download some samples of my compositions. If you look at the dates on the files you’ll note that most of them were written while I was still in high school—this is partly because I am now dividing my time between Composition and Cognitive Science, and also because much of what I’m writing now is vocal music, none of which I’ve yet to record, although if you asked me in person while near a piano, I’m sure I could perform some works in progress, :-).
2004.02 - post-meridian [Live Recording] (note: this piece is about a voyage on a train. The Clarinet is a canary, your traveling companion.)
2003.04 - The Severe Representative
2002.11 - Wood, Wind, and Stone (note: this piece might be a good place to start.)
2000.11 - A Case of Mistaken Identity
2000.07 - Hyperactive Invention in C Major
2000.03 - Movement for Orchestra in A Minor
1999.05 - Mystery of Crystal Caverns
[UNFINISHED] - 2004.05 - caffeine
[UNFINISHED] - 2004.05 - ... And I Awoke Alone in that Sleepy Valley
