Hi everyone

Thanks so much for visitng my website i really need to make it a professional one soon but thanks for all your support and kind msgs in my guestbook. At the moment i am writing some songs and also working with a producer who use to work on some shows for channel nine he has some tracks that he'd like me to write and perform on so also doing that. I have been watching Australian idol isn't it exciting and everyone asks why didn't you go well i went my friends had so much faith in me they got me to go they probably have more faith in me than i have in myself, they brought hot chocolate and everything it was raining and cold and about an hour after being in line i didn't want to go through with it I started crying and went home My  friends were a bit disappointed but within myself i just truely didn't feel ready for it and not confident or emotionally strong enough at the time.I would like to thank my close friends for having so much faith in me and believing in me i am so gracious and love you's all very much. This year my goal is to build my confidence up again because last year after singing at Lou Lou bar i was given alot of good oppotunities to sing at some great clubs including a regular at Mercury Lounge and Sub lounge which unfortunately i turned down due to lack of confidence which is a disappointment because i was really happy with singing at Lou Lou bar and how i did there it was such a great night even with the little microphone stuff up at the start i couldn't believe how much the crowd got into it, it was just an amazing feeling to see people actually singing and dancing to something i was performing words just can't describe the feeling. The rappers i performed with were so great too. So now all i have to do is keep practising and writing music and build up some confidence so i can come back and do my thing because singing is my life and has gotten me through the tough times without music i dunno what i would do. I often sing to people all the time because there is no warm up nothing often i don't think it is my best, but even so the reactions i get are all good and make me feel really good knowing that somehow i have touched someone in someway especially when people start crying which i have had several times quite a few people have cried when i have sung even if it was just on the spot with no music it's just unbelievable. My trade mark song is Hero i have sung that first verse to nearly everyone i know it's quite funny but it's the easiest 1st verse to sing on the spot with no warm up because it's quite low key to start off with.I've always loved to sing and perform since i was a little girl i think thats always the story but yes i could never sing then one day when i was about 11 or 12 i joined my school singing class and out of nowhere i just started singing and it actually sounded good. So my parents seeing potential shipped me off to singing school and thats how it all started for me and i thank god because without out my singing i would probably be a lot less of a person this is how i show my emotions and how i let out what i feel. Singing a song that you truely believe in and believing what you are singing is what being a performer is all about. I love singing my RnB music and even doing vocals on commercial dance or trance music but i am a lover of beautiful ballads whether they be love songs or something more they have always been my favourite to perform. I remember when i sang everything i do i do it for you at my cousins wedding which i then went on to record at senn music recording studio. It was just such an honour to be up there performing on such a special day i was really happy with how i sang i was about 14 or 15 at the time and i stuffed up on one bit but thats ok i did a great performance and i was really happy with being apart of the special occasion. This years Australian idol is so great the quality of singers is just fantastic. I do have my favourite which is Anthony Callea i just think he has such an amazing voice i really hope he goes a long way in the comeptition.He is my first favourtie but i also loved carlos i thought he had the moves and the sexi voice and looks he was just great and really entertaining to watch. I Loved Liza she is best friends with my cousin and she is very talented a beautiful girl.Last year I loved Levi i thought he was a great rnb performer but i loved Cosima i am a great fan of Cosima de Vito i just think she is incredible and i will always admire her for her talent the best voice in the whole compeition i thought last year although i loved everyone else, you always have a favourite. This year i love all the performers again but i really hope Anthony goes far he has a voice that everytime i hear it or see him perform i want more. INTRODUCING AMANDAH , Amandah is a singer songwriter from Melbourne Australia. She has performed places such as Merimu receptions, dandenong community arts centre, Silvers nightclub and recently performed at the opening of wednesday nights at Lou Lou bar at knox called soul movement. She has done 2 cd recordings at senn music recording studio .She had vocal training at the Marion Marten singing school for a few years then went on to train with the Jaanz school of singing. Amandah has also worked with dj d on a song he produced last year she wrote the words and performed on the track called can you feel my love which is commercial dance/trance music. Amandah also sings spanish and writes her own music mainly trance/commercial dance and rnb. Her 2 other recordings were cover songs the first cd was called The Rose and the second was Everything I do (i do it for you) and also Have i told you lately (that i love you) all were ballads.. Her style varies but is mainly rnb.Her favourtie singers are Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez.
