Angelina Jolie was born in the year 1975 . She is the daughter of Academy Award and Golden Globe winner actor Jon Voight who has long become famous for his excellent acting in movies like HEAT. Since she became an actress, she's used her middle name, Jolie, as her last name, probably with the idea of getting famous of her own performance but not from the credit of being the daughter of an excellent actor. She grew up in Los Angeles, and later trained and performed at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, where she was seen in several stage productions.
She worked as a professional model in London, New York and Los Angeles, and has also appeared in music videos for such artists as Meat Loaf, Lenny Kravitz, Antonello Venditti, and The Lemonheads, although I have never personally seen her at these videos.

In addition, she has acted in five student films for the USC School of Cinema, all directed by her own brother, James Haven Voight. Angelina Jolie got married 1996 to John Lee Miller who was a co-star of the movie Hackers, which she played in as well. But John Lee Miller is now better known as one of the actors of the British suprising Smash Through movie Trainspotting where he played Sickboy. In may of 1996 Angelina was working on a picture called Playing God. In that movie the actor team includes actors like the star of X-Files David Duchoveny and the actor Timothy Hutton. That picture has most likely finished its production sequence and is on the way to the big screen. When she got married she is supposed to have been in a sexy black rubber clothes. So it obvious that Angelina does things at her own style.

Angelina Jolie has made a name for herself as an award-winning actress quite separate from her famous father, Jon Voight.
