It sickens me
To look at this tragic scene
Though this is reality
I hoped it was all a dream
All those innocent lives
Have been taken away
Those who have done this
Will certainly pay
It's just not right
And it's just not fair
As some people have sit at home
And do nothing but sit and stare
Though we can't pont fingers
And blame everyone we see
We should think of what's at hand
Listen to the cries and plea
What's come out of the bad
Can be seen as some good
How the nation came together
As it always, always should
If we stop looking at the petty little differences
And look at the things we have the same
The world would be such a better place
'Cause what's in a name?
As everyone comes together
We shall grow stronger and more sound
With peace and unity
Our lives will not be bound
It sickens everyone and me
To look at this tragic scene
Though this is reality
We hope it was all a dream
