Muffin Project: Storyboard

All time code is in Minutes:Seconds;Frames format. Descriptions are two paragraphs. The first paragraph describes camera movement/transition into shot. The second describes the action within the shot.

1. (00:01;00) TRT - 00:01;00 2. (00:01;00) TRT - 00:02;00

Cut.
Quick shot of mixing the batter. Tight close-up, background details should be blurred.

Cut.
Quick shot pouring blueberries (could be chocolate chips, using blueberries for now) into batter mix. Tight close-up, background details should be blurred.

3. (00:01;00) TRT - 00:03;00 4. (00:01;00) TRT - 00:04;00

Cut.
Quick shot of pouring batter into molds... only need to show 2 pours, max... probably would be best to catch this between pouring for the 2nd and 3rd time. Tight close-up, background details should be blurred.

Cut.
Placing mold tray into oven. Camera follows muffins into the oven. (sound of door shutting behind the camera?)

This ends the preparation sequence. If there's enough time, or there needs to be added elements to fit pacing better, other quick shots can be added (pre-heating the oven, opening the oven, pulling out the mold, etc.). This is minimum to get the message across, though.

Hold.
Batter rises into muffins... animated in a time-lapse fashion.

Hold.
Two front muffins come to life and look around a little bit.

Pan left; zoom in.
Left muffin says to the right, "Hot in here, isn't it?"

Hold.
Right muffin looks to camera and stares (blinks?).

9. (00:08;00) TRT - 00:26;00 10. (00:02;00) TRT - 00:28;00

Hold.
Right muffin says, "Holy shit, a talking muffin!"

Hold.
Right muffin looks to left muffin suspiciously.

11. (00:02;00) TRT - 00:30;00 12. (00:03;00) TRT - 00:33;00

Hold.
Right muffin turns away from the left muffin, scooting as far to the right within it's own mold as possible. This motion is intended to look like the right muffin is suspicious of the left muffin and doesn't want to be associated with it... kind of like when a someone you know is acting like an idiot and you give the people around you that "I don't know this guy" kinda look.
