Revisitations II
by Graham Myres

Dangled inards, she burned her mornings, laboured for poets,
took part in bards...

            ...seeing away her love.

Sideways shore, the sea is drifting off to war,
            Final slowness.

Destroy mist.

Know where to wait...quietly, consume life's cord,
            ...how hair flows, breeze.

A ship looking for a beating heart.
