Fred Vella a security expert and Master 8^th degree black belt in Karate, has been a bodyguard to a former Prime Minister and other notables. Master Vella trained people in high-risk security in Australia, USA, Asia and Europe. Since 1962, Master Fred Vella has trained many top Police, Army personnel, Security Organizations, Business executives, Private Investigators, Armed Guards, Nightclub and Hotel Security and many people in high-risk employment. He has received official recognition of Government approval of his training organization.

Fred Vella International Security Academy teaches the skills needed for modern security work skills. Before actually tailoring a training program for each prospective trainee, Mr Vella assesses the applicants and recommends which training program would best suit them. The popular notion of an 18 stone as a security guard has long passed. In an ere of professionalism and with the rising sophistication of crimes committed, today’s security guards must have the best possible training in a multitude of skills, all centred upon giving his client the most possible protection.

Research has revealed there is a lack of expertise in dealing with sensitive security situations and lack of professionalism by security guards. The Vella International Security Academy aspires to enhance the proficiency of those already employed in the Security Industry and wish to broaden their field of experience.
