Thank you all for subscribing to our October newsletter.
In order to make all of our information and complaints clear, we have created several pages.
Along with our new complaints we have a nice collection of useful information for your reading pleasure.
CBB would also like to thank all of our subscribers and associates that have chosen to link with us.
In an effort to make more fanciers aware of our efforts, we have decided to send non subscribers directly to this link by advertising on various boards etc.
November's newsletter though will only be sent to subscribers, so please go to our homepage and sign up for our future letters, it's totally free.
Diet !!
Like our diets, a dog's diet is is what sustains it's body.
Feeding a poor quality diet ( dollar store kibbles) will certainly deprive your dogs of much needed nutrition.
Poor nutrition will result in a sick animal, it may also result in a shorter life span.
In our next issue we will elaborate on this topic and introduce some very helpful tips that can lead to a long healthy life for your doggy..
I now feed "BARF" (Bones and raw food) along with a very high quality kibble "Innova Evo".
I particularly love the no grain aspect of this food.

If you need information on Home Cooking "which can be time consuming" but I have found to be the
absolute best method of feeding for me, please see.HERE
Feeding one grown dog twice daily on a high quality diet will cost you approximately $50-55
monthly.
That amount equates $660 yearly, plus vet fees, toys, boarding when of if you vacation, and other,
odds and ends bringing your totals to about $1000.
Two dogs will cost you twice as much and twice the work, time and efforts.
Four dogs will cost you a lot more than twice the amount of efforts.
Done correctly, owning four dogs will average about 4,500 annualy minus cost of pens,
doggy houses , crates food etc.
Many people go into owning kennels without the proper concept of what it would take to
efficiently run one .
Teenagers not knowing what they are getting into, using these dogs for profits and in the process
ill treating our babies.
Done correctly, that is skipping heats on bitches will only mean that you have to carry that dog
until she has puppies again to get any income from sales of her pups.
Each time a heat is skipped , an average of ten months passes before you will be able to sell
pups from that same female. Six for the next heat, two for pups to be born and two before
they can be sold, if you can sell them.
Most good breeders skip two heats..
Do you plan on breeding every heat cycle? Is This You??
Some kennels have three or four simultaneous breedings without knowing how these puppies
can be sold or how effectively they can find these animals great homes.
Eventually, many kennels end up with puppies that are four, five or even six months old, without
being in new homes .
Some of these pups are eventually given away to bad homes just to rid the responsibility of
extended care and expense.
Visit your local humane society, see for yourself, APBT's are in every shelter in the country.
Unfortunately, some are there just shortly before they are euthanized.
We urge you to please breed responsibly, better yet, if you are not equipped to breed, DON'T!!
MYTHS..
---------------
Here is a common myth about our breed of choice.
1: All American Pitbull Terrier owners are Drug dealers, Gangsters, and Dog Fighters.
Reality:..Owners range from, Phsycians,Teachers, Authors and Laborers.
"Bully Breeds writer, Joan Hustace Walker".
Will a Doctor, Lawyer, Teacher or respected community person buy from you? Will they get the
wrong message after looking at your content??
CBB knows that you can make a difference in your community daily. Setting the right
examples can easily lead us to saving these wonderful dogs.
