The origins of Balance first began in 1999 when I decided to create a Web site for dancers. At that time, good ballet websites and online information about dance was rare.
When the Web site first opened, it was called The Ballet Studio and consisted of just a few images and text links. Since its humble beginnings, Balance has grown tremendously and in 2001, it was moved to its current home at Freewebs.
Today, Balance is one of the largest Web sites dedicated solely to the art of ballet. The Web site currently hosts more than 70 subpages and new material is always being added.
