the way they move their hands

everything ever published before here has now been put away nice & tidy. more stuff will be piled away like that soon, i will keep y'all updated.
should you be sitting stir crazy, i suggest you check out the pipettes, rank deluxe, good books & my first radio.

by the way, my abilty to add people on myspace is ridiculous, due to me wanting to listen to everyone first. i have the attention span of something with a small attention span, but i plan to be more friendly.
& hey, if anyone wants to submit music for review, writings or drawings, cartoons, art graffiti blahblahblah to be included in future bellyaches please get in touch via email or send me a message on the myspace. i would like that very much. xx

she's never satisfied

should you have the ol' [audioscrobbler] then add yourself to the [bellyache group]. then we can play "top of the pops" it will be fun!! ::stares::

wes told me i should have put a link to the [wtf!omg!megaissue!!1one] in my last update, so i'm doing that now. this may cover up that the "glastonbury special yay!" is not up yet. shhh. crums!

i really don't suppose i have anything interesting to say. as usual, stuff is on it's way... if you've got any photos from glastonbury you'd like included in the special issue, email them to me, & provided they aren't dirty & obscene i'll include them. maybe even if they're dirty & obscene... no, i said no!! xx

long time coming

no, your eyes don't deceive you, there has actually been an update. woah. everything has been somewhat slapped together & modelled with clayey hands, & attention has be turned to a forthdoming glastonbury special.

apologies to those who were pained through the last four months regarding putting these/this issue up; you love me really. feel free to send hate/love mail to me via the guestbook.

hope the new issue is an enjoyable experience, both for it's charm & bad journolism ;)

ta-ta for now, my little fruktsoppas xx

long time no update

more events than there is time to document them, when you work at the pace of a moog ... it's all the tender loving care i put in, or something.

the issues from february, march & april should come up at around about the same time [approx. may], in the click of the fingers, & i'm hoping not to develop artheritis, but no set date as of yet. however, we've reached march with a review of the hundred handed, & there will be photos up in due course.

things go STOP for a bit as i go to that glastonbury place, which i am excited about even though there aren't good cake shops, apparently. maybe i misunderstood, i thought the cake there would be really good. don't expect me to report back on the great bands that include the deadbeats, jim moray, red hand band, scouting for girls, second person, whalebone polly, duke raoul, mad staring eyes, the priscillas, sound development agency, tone & transcargo; but when there's cake involved, you know what's gonna come first!

that's all for now my petals, until next time xx

the times they are a-changing

i've decided to make a couple of changes. mainly so that it's easier for me to update the site, but it means new things will be up here as and when they come. and there will some other really not exciting things to get excited about; i'm just indulging myself: there is really no need for me to carry on typing...

but still, glastundiree is updated. & if wes gives me a table like that again, i will do something really bad to him. & that's not meant to be a good thing. xx

take the time to turn it out

glastundiree all updated & shiney for you, as well as a couple of new reviews, black velvets with the long weekend, and death from above 1979. and another death from above 1979 review to come... i'm loving them. it's bias at its best. ho ho ho. the next issue is on it's way, & you wont have to wait as long for it either.

oh yeah, how good were the brits?! xx

slackerrrrr

okay, so i say i'm going to do things soon and i don't. well, i just like keeping you waiting. i'll get back to you. in the meantime i'll slowly put some rubbish photos up... & maybe write some words along the way.
it's nearly not january no more... & issue 3 isn't up? oh dear. some of it is done. i'm quite excited by it actually. i sort of want to put-it-up-without-finishing-it so that i can parade other people's greatness... but i'm gonna try & finish. & wes is helping. & he'll update glastundiree as well! & then fuck me it will be february! expect me to talk about black velvets, nun of the above, death from above 1979, bloc party & the futureheads. don't expect me to actually talk about it the month it happens... well, maybe... xx

yeh yeh yeh, boom

it's still january already! issue 3 is still coming... it will either be up before of after january is over. in the mean time i feel really bad putting it out late. but obviously not that bad, or it would be up already. i digress...

wes white has been great again. now, you know we love the subways, right? well they won the glastonbury unsigned competition last year. it starts again this year, and wes is keeping a diary for bellyache ... exciting! so you wanna know all about it? i've titled it "glast-un-di-ree" in the navigation, because it's a bit punny. or you can click around this area to have a look.

i am staring at you quite blankly.

hello. right, it's december, the month of death... i am actually dying, i think. as i type, i should be watching secret machines at the scala, and i am not. i cry! many a gig has had to have been sacrificed of late; it displeases the gods; they are angry with me.

but never mind, wes has gone & done something great: he has reviewed the october revolution. you remember october? all those weeks ago.... well the review is so good, i'll link you straight to it. click me, please.
it includes male, sj esau, sammo hung, valley forge, the mighty stars, war against sleep, geisha, termites, big joan, ivory springer, chikinki & do me bad things.

that review of apartment i promised is still coming. just it's hard to put their brilliance into words. i managed a few disjointed phrases & was then stumped. i'll try harder & get it done really really soon... or something.

also, this band called the heal are playing in ashford on the 10th & they said "would you like to come?" & i would like to, because i listened to them & thought "oooo". i can't make it though. so if you can go, do, & then tell me about it.

sent to you with all the love in the world! xx

hello, welcome, and so on...

you've found your way to a music web zine in it's early stages; yet another to sprout up around yon eyes.

well belly ache doesn't promise to be original, but it does promise to give it's honest opinion on whatever it bloody well feels like.

you can expect a full issue update every month from november, with various articles on various topics: albums, artists, & whatever else belly ache decides to grace your presence with.

you can also expect regular live reviews of random bands around london or anywhere actually - whoever belly ache can be bothered to get out of bed at that time of night to see.

you'd probably be rewarded if you were expecting some rubbish photos as well... plenty to look forward to!

long rambling intro over - go have a goosey gander.
