This is Leah's second year of playing ultimate with UCSC.  Leaving her boyfriend an ultimate widow, Leah has emersed herself in SOL.  Born and raised in Sacramento, Leah grew up playing soccer as well as the violin. After she graduated fom UCSC in 2000 with an art degree, Leah returned and is currently a second year economics grad student.   Leah is the team medicine woman and a true creature of the great outdoors. She also enjoys rock climbing, riding her bike and avoiding lactose.  Leah has a tendancy to need to pee a lot.  However, since she pees so often and has a small bladder, Leah can pee very quickly and tends to will the pee races behind the hill.

        Ilea is a junior at UCSC.  This is her second year of playing with Sol.  A former track star at Soquel High school, Ilea brings speed and a big smile to the ultimate field.  She loves winter ultimate camp, where she is currently mastering the kill drill. She is studying biology and hopes to one day draw bugs for national geographic.  Ilea is kind of a cute little bugger herself.  Look at that smile!  Leah has a pimping van.  It is brown. 

     This rookie from Bainbridge Island, Washington, is quite the well rounded athlete, which may explain why she has picked up this sport so fast.  She used to play soccer, water polo, run track, ski and do gymnastics, and still enjoys hiking, biking, and camping.  This UCSC sophmore is studying earth sciences and anthropology.  Amy has a Bronco that has a slight hitch in it's getalong.  Her Bronco, Big Blue, is one of those structures that appears larger on the outside than it really is on the inside.  It only fits four!! It's kind of like the telephone booth that Doctor Who rode around in.  Only it's the opposite, because the telephone booth appeared small but was gigantic on the inside.  Amy does not have a robotic dog namet K-9.

      Jamie does not have bangs.  This rookie does, however, have a claw.  We should send her back to Folsom because this girl is so good she is a criminal!  Jamie is slowly realizing that ultimate is her true calling, and that soccer is for those who just don't know.  Jamie is studying sociology and international politics. She loves to knit, has a thing for Dave Matthews, and is trying harder than most people  to Free Tibet.  She was once overheard saying "I love drinking cheap beer and peeing in random spot".  So watch out for those puddles on the umtimate field!

      It is tragic, but EJ has yet to loose her smile.  Her knee, the pain, the tear, the loss of a season.  This sophmores second year on Sol will not be one in which EJ will show her domination, skill, speed and endurance.  Those aspects will be missed deaply.  However, her spirit will be a key force on the team as she dominates with her knowlege and assistance on the sideline. You can't keep this girl down.  After running track and cross country for four years in Walnut Creek, EJ knows how to push through the difficult parts of this rat race and come out on top.  EJ is a literature and education student at UCSC.  She is one of the best knitters on the team.  She also has an endless supply of See's chocolate that Grandma Johnson likes to send her.  Sometimes she has fudge. 

        Mr. Bunny is not very good at ultimate but he is cute.  He doesn't even go to UCSC nor Cabrillo.  I believe he is inelidgable.  Mr. Bunny works at Haptek, a computer graphics company that makes virtual people with useful applications.  Mr. Bunny began his career at Haptek as a model for the "bunny ears" accessory available in Haptek's People Putty software.  Currently, he just sits in the big red shoe on the shelf. Mr. Bunny feels that he is underpaid and overworked.  I say to Mr. Bunny, that's the American way.  Haptek's People Putty is a piece of entertainment software with which one can create realistic 3-D characters of your friends, enemies and loved ones, or just make up new random characters.  These real-time characters can then be used in web-pages, emails and more!        It took a bit of coaxing, but at the end of her freshman year, Tasia's roomate got her out on the ultimate field. Four college seasons and three club seasons later, Tasia is a dominating force on Sol.  Tasia is the most feared handler in the college scene with her hucks and immaculate throws.  She is huge.  Tasia also handles on the Bay Area team, Fury, which placed third at nationals this year. She is a fifth year UCSC student and will graduate this year with her masters in economics.  Besides handling, Tasia rules the logistics scene.  She knows the rules. She knows when we're supposed to play.  She just knows everything.  Growing up Chico didn't kill the important brain cells!

     As a senior at UCSC, this is Celina's fourth year of playing ultimate with UCSC.  With so much experience, Celina does practically everything on the field.  In Springfield, Illinois, Celina was a high school hurdling state champion. She can run and jump.  Celina is studying environmental studies and earth sciences and would like to rule the world of water after she graduates this year.  Celina likes to throw wild slumber parties with pizza, makeovers, and lots of talk about boys.  She like cheese on her pizza.  She is not lactose intolerant.  In fact, Celina is very tolerant of lactose.

      Mac grew up in San Luis Obispo, CA  and for all of you who think it is southern cal, you are wrong, it's on the beautiful CENTRAL coast! Mac played softball, water polo, basketball, volleyball, hiked, biked, swam and backpacked.  She is currently learning how to surf.  And she likes to travel.  Mac once played three games of softball in one day, and you know what that means!  (If you don't, just  ask her, she'll tell you)  This sociology major at UCSC does not like Yogi the bear and would like to become a park ranger and kick his ass.  Just like she kicks ass on the ultimate field.  This is her second year, and already she is handling and hucking.  She has also been called wise at times. 

      Bonnie does have bangs.  This criminal just got out of Folson prison, where she spent some time with Jonney Cash! Don't pull me over Mr. Officer, please! After many years of soccer and cross-country, this UCSC sophmore decided to try out rugby.   Needless to say, she was then seen stalking out our captain looking to play ultimate. Apparently, she has found what she is looking for. A music fanatic, Bonnie is competing with her sister for Dave Matthews love.  She would like to major in business music.  She likes to eat ravioli, peanut butter and oranges together.  No wonder they call her "Crazy Bonnie"!  She was once overheard saying "I love mooning random people with my white ass".  That bright, white round thing on the field might not necessarily be the disk! 

     Hadley comes to Sol from Arlington, Virginia.  What she really brings to the team comes from her years at summer camp and years of playing goalie on her soccer teams.  She can sing, dance, shake it like a milkshake and also lay out for the goal.  Speaking of milkshakes, Hadley really likes milk.  She is not lactose intolerant.  In fact, she sometimes sings songs about milk that offend our HMLI.  Hadley is a UCSC sophmore studying history.    She also enjoys basketball, tennis and studying her hero. Hadley once layed for a disk with an orange in her pocket.  The orange was smashed.
