FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions OK, I haven't had any FAQ's at the moment, but these are some questions you may wish to ask me or the other writers. What are the Baron Online stories? The Baron Online or BO stories were written basied upon a ground a stories called: The GB (GuestBook) Stories, written by a group of people - Geg, Arthur Liquida, Dagger, Reno and myself - Ace Strife (for the record, I used to call myself Cloud Strife and Dagger sometimes called herself Beatrix). Anyway, we'd all write a part for the story following a discussed plot line but we can have what we want happen. A total of five GB Stories exist. Golbez Harvey (Jeremy) was going to help with GB#5 but didn't seem to understand fully how it worked. The GB stories are written differently to the BO Stories. In GB stories, each character is assiged a HTML color, so every time they speak, their color is used for the text. We didn't do that when writting the BO stories. I added it at the end for this site. Where was the BO story written? On the site "Baron Online", owned by Golbez's brother Cecil Harvey. In the Baron Online fourm, we used the writting fourm to write the BO stories. Where did the idea for BO come from? Therony thought up the idea himself but it is likely it would have been like a normal story. When Jeremy read the GB stories, he decided to do a Baron Online version which ended up being simular to the GB Stories. Both Therony and I decided to help write and the BO stories were born. Was there any problems when writting the story? Yes, once. Towards the end of the story, I decided the group should under go five trials. To me it meant five physical trials i.e. where their bodies were pushed to the limit. It was basied on the "Cloister of Trails" from FFX where the group have to complete puzzles. But I didn't say WHAT kind of trials. I assumed the group thought the same as me. However, they didn't. They thought it was mental trials i.e. trials of the soul etc., and wrote three of them. These then went on to become the Mental Trails. When I saw these, I wasn't happy as that wasn't how I pictured it. I fought with Jeremy but in the end we came to an agreement. My idea for the trials would be used and the Mental Trails would be used afterwords. What will happen next? Well, we're writting BO#2 at the moment. An idea called: "BO Stories: The Movie" was thought up, and would be done like a DBZ movie - it fits in with a saga, but won't show the villian etc. Though little has been disucssed recently. Thoughts have been done for BO#3 but both Jeremy and Therony want a break from BO. Does Golbez go around saying Doom doom doom doom doom outside of the story? You mean singing the "Doom Song" from Invader Zim. Yes, unfortunatly. Is the uploaded version of the BO Stories different from the one written at Baron Online? Yes. I have edited some of my scenes. By edited, I meen I've added in new scenes or re-fraised what people say. A good example is when Theron asks who Geg and Arthur are. I felt I should add in something saying they are two friends of mine from Geg's GB and two of the writers from the GB Stories. I have however tried not to edit anything Jeremy or Theron wrote, though I have corrected Jeremy in his "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" side story (in the Other BO Items Page). Basically, Jeremy said I wrote FOR Geg and the others, when I wrote along side them. This is minor, I know but I feel people should be given the complete facts. |
