The
band consists of multiple grades to meet the needs of every individual.
Catamount Pipe Band (grade 4), Catamount Pipe Band (grade 5), and
a Catamount Juvenile Pipe Band program. These bands are instructed
by the staff of the Vermont Institue of Piping and other guest instructors.
In 2002, the band was third in the Eastern United States Pipe Band
Association's season standings, beating out 97 other east coast
bands. Playing in Catamount Pipe Band gives individuals an opportunity
to learn and experience: teamwork, personal growth, as well as a
chance to create friendships with others of similar interests.
