History
Weaver (Annepetoka) upset much of her village when she set off on a vision-seeking, a quest traditionally reserved for young men. When she left, she was trailed by a handful of men who disapproved of her willfulness. They caught up with her and wrestled from her the sacred spear which she'd ben told must not touch the ground during her quest. Shamed, she felt she could not return home until she atoned for what she felt was her failure. It was then that she was informed by the goddess Lua that it would be her responsibility to protect a special seedling tree until it could survive on its own. If she did, she would not only be forgiven, but would be granted the vision she'd been seeking, as well as a most important destiny.
