Progress Picture Page

Here are the various progress pictures I've had and changed since I started my page and a little before.  Since I only put the main ones up on the front page, this is more of a detailed archive of them.

Computer Picture Collection

This unusual pose series started for two reasons.  #1 is my husband's bad habit of taking "surprise" pictures of me while I was goofing around on the computer.  They were "surprise" because I hated the camera and avoided it like the plague, so what few pics there are of me at my highest weight were generally taken without me realizing he was doing it until it was too late.  Since the Dunkin Donuts pic is my official "before" pic it made sense to try to get pics in the same pose as I lost to see the difference.

Yikes.  The Dunkin Donuts 280 pound picture.  No chair arm in sight.

Here I am at 251, down 29 pounds and at 10%.
You still can't see the chair arm.
Also I have a really dumb look on my face.  Thanks, DH.

I weighed 243 in this one, down 37 pounds.
If you look close, you can almost see the edge of the chair arm!
Yay for shrinking stomachs!

231 pounds in this picture, down almost 50 pounds.
The chair arm is finally visible, and that shirt's looking baggy!

Here I'm down to 219 and 61 pounds gone.
I have kind of a goofy smile, but I actually like that picture.

This is me at 208 and less than 10 to Onederland.
72 pounds gone and look how much of that chair arm there is now!

My first picture in Onederland! 197.8 to be exact.
82.2 pounds gone and finally my arms look a little thinner.  I never liked my arms, I get a lot of weight in the upper arm especially.  At least they're shrinking a little though, right?  The shirt looks looser on that part, anyway.

This is me at 190.4, right around the corner from 90 lbs gone.  Although it hasn't even been a full 10 pounds since the last picture, my fiancé told me there was enough of a difference that I should put up a new picture.  I tend to agree- the exercise especially I think has made a huge difference.  Oh and there's lot s more of the chair arm now too.  I think that whole 7 pounds came off my stomach.  It's about time something significant came from there!

Here I am at 182.6 and 97.4 pounds gone.
The Old Navy shirt is finally history and lots of chair arm to go around!

103.2 pounds gone in this shot.
I'm slouching a little so the chair arm effect was lost, but I see a noticeable difference in my face, neck, and even that sausage of an arm.  The shirt in the other pic was holding it in.  This one had no such benefit.

113 pounds gone forever, firmly in the 160s and the evil 20-25 range.
I abandoned the water for diet vanilla coke again, but I still drink the water, honest.

121.4 pounds deleted and that chair feels huge now.

132.2 pounds of fat incinerated and in the 20 point target range now.
And oh my god, look how much chair there is!

141.4 pounds gone and goal.  The chair is still huge!
BTW the red shirt in this pic is not the same one as in the 113 lb pic.
This one is a juniors L, the other one was a misses XL. I just like red.

Comparison Standing Shots

This is an expanded set of pictures of me in a standing pose.  All but one of these is after I was already on WW.  Like I said before, I have no standing pictures of me at my top weight.  Cameras and I didn't get along too well in those days.

This is a pre-WW picture of me and DF taken in August 2001 at my friend's beach house.  It's not at my top weight, probably around 250ish, but it's high enough.  The shirt was a 3X and the shorts a 22W which I could not squeeze into if I tried with all my might at my heaviest.  I was not happy that weekend because I couldn't use my friend's jetski, because I was too fat for the biggest lifejacket she had.  When it was taken I hated this picture and cried when I saw it and how big I was in it.

This was taken in mid-July 2003 at the same beach house although at night.  As you can tell, both DF and I are quite a bit thinner than when we were there last time.  I'm down 100+ and he's down 70+ from that other picture.  We weren't able to stay long enough that weekend to go on any jetskis, although I did try on a lifejacket.  It fit no problem.

This is the first standing picture of me I braved on WW.
I'm 243 in this picture, down 37 pounds from where I started.

The standing picture of me at 231.  I liked this shirt a lot, even if it was a 2X.  I eventually gave it away because it became just too baggy to wear and it hung off me far worse than even in this shot.

Here I am standing at 219.  I was happy to wear that shirt again, as it was one of my favorites in college.

My picture at 208, with my puppy trying to get in the picture.

Me standing at 208 wearing the baggy Old Navy shirt from the desk pics.

Here I am standing proudly in Onederland at 197.8.

This is me at 190.4, just shy of 90 pounds gone.  I'm wearing the same jeans as in the 197.8 picture.  I think most of that weight came from my midsection.  No complaints here about that!

Standing firmly in the low 180s at 97.4 pounds gone.
This time I'm showing some leg, too, in some size medium shorts!

Now in the 170s at 103.2 pounds gone.
Showing more leg, and my collarbones, baby.  Not to mention I'm not squeezing in my arms out of mortal fear of them being noticed on camera.

167 and 113 pounds gone.  Wearing size 8 shorts with no stretch!
Woo-hoo!

One of the much-requested wedding pictures!
Taken 8/23/03 at 118.2 lbs gone.

In the home stretch of the 150s and less than 10 to my original goal.
Still in size 8s, but they're looser!

Vampy Halloween Dress!
Taken 10/31/03 in the low 150s.

Now firmly in the 140s and over 130 pounds gone.
Less than 10 pounds to my new (and hopefully final) goal of 140.

GOAL and 141.4 pounds are history!
And OMG, what a pair of clown pants!
I'm holding my original size 26W jeans.

Two days before Christmas, at goal 1 month, and in the low 130s
wearing a size 2 pair of low rise jeans.

In the 120s for the first time in my adult life and 151 pounds lighter.
Best of all, wearing a size 6 dress!

Here I am in August 2005, five and a half months after having my
baby and back in the low 130s again.  I'm wearing the same jeans
as in the picture right above this one.
