I began my wedding career and photographing people with Putmans Photographers.
At the time being the top studio in the region giving me the best training I
could wish for, I was employed here for around 12 years.

I gained essential wedding experience and also the art of dealing with people in a
friendly yet professional way.

In1991 I qualified with The BIPP & MPA gaining the Licentiate grade.
In 1993 I won a major National Fuji Wedding Award with over
1200 entry's from all over the UK.
In 1999 I qualified with The SWPP at the Licentiate grade.

Colin Leonard Photography was then created in 1999
And has grown so we now have two main locations for the
business, Essex & Surrey enabling us to cover the South East

In 2002 with the SWPP, I achieved highly commended in the wedding category.

I regularly attend SWPP & other photography seminars and workshops to keep up to
date with today's market and new trends in photography

Today's weddings are alot more creative & involved than what they used to be.

My first interests in photography was at Clacton Camera club just after leaving school.
I then studied at Barking College in 1986 gaining C&G distinctions
in Photography and Design.
