I began my wedding career and photographing
people with Putmans Photographers.
Pete & Dave gave me the best training I could wish
for at that time with them being the best photographers
in the region. I was here for around 12 years.

Here I also gained essential wedding experience and
also the art of dealing with people in a
friendly yet professional way.

I qualified with at the time The BIPP & MPA
in 1991 gaining the Licentiate grade.
In 1993 I won a major Fuji wedding award with over
1200 entry's from all over the UK.

Colin Leonard Photography
was then created in 1999

At this point I qualified with
The SWPP at the Licentiate grade.

In 2002 with the SWPP, I achieved
highly commended in the wedding category.

I regularly attend SWPP & other photography seminars
and workshops to keep up to date with today's market and
new trends in photography and have been working in
Photoshop on a daily basis.
Today's weddings are alot more creative & involved.

My first interests in photography was with the
Clacton Camera club just after leaving school.
I then studied at Barking College in 1986 gaining
C&G distinctions in Photography and Design.
