| 01.21.02 Virgin Megastore Appearances by Stereophonics and Starsailor, Euro Tour? Yesterday, Phonics played a short set at the Virgin Megastore in LA kicking off their North American run and tonight will officially begin the NA club tour at the House of Blues. I've heard a lot of good things about Starsailor but I've only been able to hear about 10 seconds of one of their songs. It sounded good though. Kelly has noticed them as well: "Recently, I like what I’ve heard of Starsailor—that kid’s got a good voice." Starsailor is currently on tour with the Charlatans. Check them out while you can because there are only a few US dates left. I'm not sure if they've sold out yet though. There seems to be a Phonics European tour in the making, but some previously announced dates have been cancelled while others have been added. When there's something more definitive, I'll post the tour dates on the site. For now, check out the Phonics in North America. The Dublin band JJ72 will be their supporting act. - Other News - |
