The ever famous Battle of Yavin was the first Rebel Alliance battle against the Empire. It was the site of the the Empire's next Death Star destruction. The Rebels fought bravely during this battle, some lives were lost in the battle and they were honored after the Rebels won. After the Death Star was destroyed Yavin 4 was abandoned by the Rebels for a while as they re-located to the icy planet Hoth.

The second battle of the Alliance against the Empire, was at Hoth. The Rebels had just moved from Yavin 4 while the Empire was sending out Imperial Probe Droids to search for the fleeing rebels. The battle at Hoth was a heated exchange between the two opposing forces, and even while the Rebels were evacuating and seeming to lose the battle, their fate lied with the Snowspeeders commanded by Luke Skywalker. While he was shot down by an AT-AT, he managed to escape with his life and brought down a single walker by winching himself up to it, cutting open the bottom panel of the walker with his lightsaber and throwing a grenade into it, and escaping the blast all at once. The Rebels did in fact escape the Empire and relocated to another unknown location to the Empire.

The Alliance learned that the Empire was building a new Death Star over the planet of Endor. The work site in space was being protected by a remote sheild generator on the planet's surface. The Alliance knew of this location, partly because the Emporer let it be known to the Rebels as a way of eliminating them when they got to the planet. The Alliance aquired an Imperial shuttle and used it to infiltrate the the Imperial forces guarding the base on the planet. As a small Rebel group infiltrated the compound and blew the shield generator the Alliance's fleet attacked the Imperial's Navy in orbit around the planet. While it seemed to easy for the Rebels they were aided by the planets native's, Ewoks. The Ewok's played an important role to helping the Rebel force on the planets surface, blow up the shield generator. The Alliance once again defeated the Empire and also destroyed the Emporer in the process..........or so they thought.

During the days of the New Order of the Republic, the Republic is finally back and the galaxy is experiencing peace. But just when things were finally back in order a new threat has come up. The Yuuzhan Vong are worse than the Empire, they hail fom a world outside the galaxy of the Republic. They are hell bent on the destruction of un-worldly things, which is why all of their equipment and weapons and things are organically grownto fit their needs. They have already destroyed worlds on the Outer Rim and are working their way to the Core Worlds. Coruscant seems to be their main target since it is the symbol of the Republic.They will stop at nothing to get what they want, regardless of interventions by the Republic. The one thing about the Yuuzhan Vong that puts the Jedi in a disposition is that they are not located through the Force.They can not be overthrown now as easily as the Jedi are used to overthrowing evil. It is very hard for the Jedi Order to fight something that is not in touch with the Force, it's like fighting blind to everything that they've trained for. The fight between the Yuuzhan Vong and the Republic is still being waged without hope of ever being won by the Republic. Even now as they have lost so many Heroes of the Rebellion, such as Chewbacca, there is as it seems no way of the Yuuzhan Vong to ever be defeated.
