Cancer, fourth sign in the zodiac, cardinal and feminine it is the first sign of the summer season. The Sun enters the sign of Cancer on 21 or 22 June (the Summer solstice) and leaves on 22 or 23 July, depending on the year.

Cancerians are the home-lovers of the zodiac, and express their natural caring feelings through the family unit. They can be extreme worriers. They are very imaginative people and are rational thinkers. Cancerians are very emotional people and never have the courage to give up on a task. Their worst fault is their moodiness and they can also be overprotective.

With their caring nature Cancerians are more than often drawn to nursing and other caring professions. They also have a good sense of business, good with money and know the best ways to hang on to it. They have an extremely creative flair to them, making artistic careers a good option for them. They like to dedicate themselves to one job, but have difficulty in making the first decisions.

Cancerians are not the world's best when it comes to exercise, they put their energy into relationships and home life rather than into physical work.
