10^th sign of the zodiac

Capricorn is the tenth sign of the zodiac. It is a cardinal, feminine sign, and the first sign of Winter. The Sun enters the sign of Capricorn on 20 or 21 December and leaves on 19 or 20 January, depending on the year.

Element: Earth. The Earth looks sterile and meek, hiding the riches of its future. Its cold, lifeless exterior hides its warm, alive truth

Generally there are two types of Capricorn; a pessimistic type and a largely humourous type. They can be confident and ambitious or negitive and rigid. They can be either type or a mixture of both. In general though, they are careful and practical, they don't commit lightly to anything.

Capricorns are motivtated and disciplined workers and are not afraid of responsibility. They are good at manipulating others into making different decisions so they can achieve their independence. Capricorns are best suited to a structured career where they can see clearly their route of promotion.

They normally follow a very good diet plan and exercise pattern by themselves, they love open air and general relaxation. They are not noted as over-indulgent types.

They can appear distant and cold to their partner, and sometimes find it hard to display their emotions. A Capricorn will make sure they have the practical side of a relationship under control before they move on and commit. They do make loyal, faithful partners.
