The seventh sign of the zodiac is Libra, a cardinal, feminine sign, and the first sign of Autumn. The Sun enters the sign of Libra on 22 or 23 September and leaves on 22 or 23 October, depending on the year.

Element: Air. The Air is still warm from the heat of the Summer months, but becoming damp and cooler at early and late hours of the day.

Librans are easy-going and relaxed people, extremely sociable nature. They seek harmony in their lives. They are fair and compassionate and crave happiness in themselves and others; they are often happiest when those around them are happy. They can be indecisive and give up easily, they spend ages weighing up pros and cons of situations.

Librans enjoy the good things in life, money and luxury items, meaning they will need a well paying job. Their is no job that is particular to the Libran. They like to be in control but not in a solitary position, they prefer to be part of a team. Expression is key in Libran work, along with creative thinking.

Librans are known for having a sweet tooth, and need to aim to balance their diet. Librans are extemelly open on the exercise front and many, without even realising balance their activities very well. They take exercise in slow, regular amounts.

Librans are constantly on the search for true love. They idealise their perfect relationship; a peaceful, long term love. They aren't afraid to commit but should keep a watch on who they become involved with. A Libran parent gives in to tantrums and demands far too easily, they have a soft touch for children.
