The Shire of Gryphon's Lair has adopted a system of "Knot Awards" to show it's appreciation for those who help manifest the dream. You are encouraged to nominate gentles you feel have provided outstanding service, chivalry and other deeds.

GOLDEN FEATHER OF THE GRYPHON - Presented by the Seneschal once each tenure to the individual who has provided exceptional service, above and beyond the call of duty, to the Shire
BLUE CRYSTAL OF THE GRYPHON - Presented by the Seneschal once each tenure to the individual who best represents the highest ideals of our Society
CORNERSTONE OF THE LAIR - Presented to an officer of the Shire who's contributions and service exceed the normal bounds of their office.
HEARTHSTONE OF THE LAIR - Presented to a member of the Shire who's actions and activities have exceptionally enriched the Shire.
RAMBLING ROCK OF THE LAIR - Presented to a person not of the Shire for exceptional service to the Shire
ARTS AND SCIENCES FEATHER - Presented to those members of the Lair who have demonstrated superior talents in the Arts and Sciences.
FIGHTING FEATHER - Presented to those members of the Lair who have demonstrated superior abilities in Heavy Combat.
RAPIER FEATHER - Presented to those members of the Lair who have demonstrated superior abilities in Rapier Combat
ARCHERY FEATHER - Presented to those members of the Lair who have demonstrated superior abilities in Archery
SERVICE FEATHER - Presented to those members of the Lair who have provided dedicated Service to the Shire.
FABULOUS FEAST FEATHER - Presented to those members of the Lair who have excelled in preparing and presenting feasts.
BRASS GRYPHON - Presented as a token of appreciation to those individuals who have contributed their time, efforts, and knowledge to the benefit of the Shire.
WARM FUZZY - Presented as a token of appreciation for a specific service to the Shire, normally by someone who is not a part of the Lair.
BABY FEATHER - Presented to those Shire members who have children while they ar part of the Lair.
KNOT HERE - Presented to those individuals who are absent from the Shire for an extended period of time due to military service.
