Baronial officers assist in keeping the Barony running smoothly. They include the following:
Seneschal: The basic leader of all other officers, responsible for reporting at the Kingdom level.
Minister of Arts and Sciences: Arranges classes and teachers in the gentle arts and sciences.
Chatelaine: The key contact for newcomers and demonstrations. The Chatelaine is also holder of "Gold Key," which is the Barony owned loaner garb. Chatelaine also has access to the Barony inventory.
Chronicler: Publishes the Barony Newsletter and takes minutes at all Baronial meetings.
Herald: Assists Barony members in submitting paperwork for officially registering your name and coat of arms in the society.
Knight Marshal: Responsible for the safety and authorization of the heavy armored combatants
Rapier Marshal: Responsible for the safety and authorization of the rapier combatants
Archery Captain: Responsible for running practice, authorization of archers, safety, and storage & maintenance of archery gear.
List Minister: Responsible for maintaining the list for fighting competition.
Chirurgeon: Responsible for the medical needs of the Barony, including First Aid as well as organizing the Water Bearers, who provide water for the members of the Barony - a critical function particularly for combatants.
Reeve: Maintains all monetary records for the Barony.
Sheriff: Monitors security at events and practices, and controls the lost and found.
Webminister: Responsible for the design and maintenance of the Baronial Website and the mailing list.
Minister of Youth: Responsible for arranging activities for children at events and practices. The Minister of Youth is not a babysitting service, but through a network of volunteers may provide an hour or two of free time for you to enjoy the event.
Deputy: Any officer may appoint a deputy to act as their second in the event that they are unable to perform their duties for any reason.
