The Biogaphy of Angelina Jolie

Born June 4, 1975 to actor Jon Voight and then-actress/model Marcheline Betrand, Angelina Jolie Voight was born in Los Angeles, California. One of two children, Angelina shared the household with her older brother James Haven. With them both being quite young when their parents divorced, Angelina and Jamie grew a special bond common between children of divorced parents. Often mistaken as incestual (e.g. Oscars 2000), those claims were made by only the most ignorant, sheltered, and naive. Moving onward, Angelina attended Beverly Hills High, graduated at 16, and then moved on to the Lee Strasburg Performing Arts Academy where she perfected her natural talent. Angelina attended New York University after finishing up her Golden Globe-winning performance in HBO's Gia, the true-life story of the fated model, Gia Carangi. For any and all that may have seen the movie, it is understandable why Angelina would need a break from the business. Her performance was so hauntingly intense that even the movie's audience would need a break from the public eye. While filming the sci-fi flick "Hackers" in 1996, Angelina met her first husband, actor Jonny Lee Miller. The conflicting schedules of the two actors led to a mutual break-up almost 2 years later. The two still remain friends today. Her recent nuptials to actor/writer/musician Billy Bob Thornton have been everything Angelina could ever ask for. Any previous insecurities or issues she may have had seem to have disappeared ever since the two wed in the summer of 2000. I wish them the very best and know they have the utmost ability to prove the public wrong in their "estimations" of the length of the Thornton's marriage.
