Shango totally kicks butt. She's a demon slayer, or demon exterminator, along with her brother, father and a few fellow villagers. She fights with a sword and a huge (and very powerful) boomerang. Her pet Kylala (spelled wrong, I know, but that's how it sounds) is sort of her sidekick. She is an awesome fighter, almost equal to Inu-Yasha. Her past is pretty sad; Kohaku, her brother, was possessed by a spider-demon and killed Shango's father and the rest of the Slayer team in front of her, and stabbed Shango. He was killed by the people who hired the exterminators, with arrows, and Shango almost died as well. He was only eleven years old. *sigh* Also, while she and the slayers were away that same day when they all were killed by Kohaku, her entire village was destroyed. Pretty rough, eh? She goes through the show with great strength, though, with the help of her new friends.
