Hello!
This page is for anyone who would like to learn about Korean culture, costume, and folklore, with some more
specific information aimed at those interested in building a Korean persona for themselves.
Currently, there is a costume and a links section, but many more sections are on the way.
Check at the bottom of the page for updates,
and use the menu at the top of the page to navigate.
I would love it if you could also sign my guest book.
The costume section has all sorts of costume-related information, as well as images of full costumes ranging from the
15th to 17th centuries, from the common people to royalty.
There is also a links section with few, but excellent, links. My purpose in making this site is to spread knowledge of past Korean culture, as well as provide sufficient information for
any reenactors (especially SCA) looking to create a Korean persona for themselves. As far as I know, there are very few
Korean personas in the SCA, and I hope to spark interest in this fascinating culture.
I plan to focus mainly on costume history and construction, but in the near future I will also provide traditional recipes,
tradional legends and myths, bits of history, as well as fun odds and ends, such as Korean games and how to play them.
I hope you will find this page informational and helpful, and if you have any suggestions,
requests for particular information, or if you have some information you would like to share, please let me know!
^_^
-Anna
