New Days Duo: Belle & Philip?

Now that Belle has dumped Shawn on DAYS OF OUR LIVES, will her friendship with Phillip develop into something more? "Phillip has turned into this person she can confide in," explains Kirsten Storms (Belle). "She always had that man to lean on with Shawn, and once he steps out of the picture, she turns to Philip to vent about all these feelings she's been having." Although Phillip is trying to win back Chloe and keep her from seeing the make-out tape that Cynthia gave her he and Belle did become very close on the island last summer. For now, though, they are just each other's support system. "Because Phillip is being rejected by Chloe and because Belle is being rejected by Shawn, they will find that they have a lot in common and have a strong friendship, which can be a good thing - or a bad thing." previews the actress. "They go through such heartbreak, and then they start spending time together." But this doesn't mean that it's totally over for Belle and Shawn. "One of the episodes ends with a line that gave me goose bumps," she admits. "Shawn says, 'I love you, Belle, and someday we'll be together again.'
