Jay Kenneth Johnson to leave Days? It has been widely speculated that when Jay's contract is up in November of 2002 he will leave his role of Philip Kiriakis on DOOL. Insiders say he's gone. Soap Opera Weekly also reported that he would leave to pursue other projects. Despite SOW confirming this news, there have been reports on other sites that Jay himself has said nothing is definate. His departure has not been confirmed by his official site or the official Sony site. There is also a rumour floating around that Jay is in negotiations trying to cut a deal where he would be allowed 'outs.' But just a rumour at this point.

News and Appearances On Saturday, June 29, Jay will join Jason Cook at the Soap Opera Festival in Louisville, Ky. The festival is at the Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom and is free with admission to the park. Jay's appearance times are 1PM and 4PM.
