John Davidson in TV Guide.
In 1966, a handsome singer named John Davidson flashed his white teeth as host of NBC's The Kraft Summer Music Hall, and America's favorite boy next door had moved in. Over the years, he hosted two self-titled variety shows as well as ABC's That's Incredible!(1980-84) and Hollywood Squares (the 1986-1989 seasons). The 59- year-old crooner lives in New Jersey with his wife, Rhonda, and tours across the country. Rhonda, a teacher, home-schools the couple's 13-year-old daughter, Ashleigh. One unexpected result of Ashleigh's schooling: A geography-themed card game called Borderline U.S.A., devised by Davidson and Rhonda for their daughter, is now sold in stores. As for a return to TV, Davidson says he'd love it but hasn't played his own trump card: "In college(Ohio's Denison University), I was a frat brother of (Disney-ABC boss) Michael Eisner," he says. Maybe That's Still Incredible?
