Games:
NAME: 7/27
TYPE: Counting
NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 4-10
INITIAL DEAL: one card down, one card up to each player
PLAY: The object is to get as close to seven or 27 as possible. The value of the cards is one or eleven for aces, ½ for face cards and face value for all other cards. Alternating, rotating rounds of betting and taking another card ensue until there is a round where no one takes a card. A player can take a card on any round regardless of his actions on previous rounds. A final betting round, a declaration for high, low or both, and then a showdown.
WINNERS: Players closest to 7 and 27 split the pot. If two people are the same distance from 7 or 27, they split the ½ of the pot.
VARIATIONS:
- Setting inside, outside, high or low to be better (Ex. with inside, 7 ½ beats 6 ½ and 26 ½ beats 27 ½ ).
STRATEGY: Bluffing in this game occurs mostly for the low hand. Thus, if you can make a stab at it, it is often worth your while to go low. Going high means that it will be a while, and often a few quarters, before you know what you have. And if your bluff is not working, you can always decide to go high later. By the same token, don't be scared out with an eight because someone with a five showing keeps throwing in quarters.

NAME: Indian Poker
TYPE: Bluff your Ass Off
NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 2-10
INITIAL DEAL: one card to each player, $1 fine and out if player looks at his own card
PLAY: Each player holds his card up so that everyone else can see it. Then starting with the player to the left of the dealer, betting begins. There should really be no limit in this game, since otherwise it is difficult to scare people out, but to each his own. Once the betting is down with, each player looks at his card and the winner takes his pot. The deal then rotates to the left. The game continues for one deck. This is the ultimate game of bluff and balls.
RANK OF HANDS: ace high, two lo
VARIATIONS:
- High/low hands split.
- Deal 2-5 cards to each player. Go several rounds of Indian until deck is been dealt out completely.
- Low hand wins.
STRATEGY: You will never bluff someone out if you call. You may look silly raising $.50 while holding a two, but you will look even sillier calling against an ace.

NAME: Liar's Poker (a.k.a. Lawyer's Poker)
TYPE: Bluff?
NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 3-10
PLAY: Each player puts two quarters in front of him. Everyone is then dealt two down cards. The first person calls a poker hand. After that, a person must call a hand which beats the previous hand or call the hand. If a person calls the hand, then everyone's cards are pooled to determine if the hand exists. If it does, the person who called the game loses one of his quarters and starts the next game, with only one card dealt to him (if he only had one quarter, he is out and play begins with the next person in order). Deck is reshuffled after each round.
WINNER:
Game ends when only one person has a quarter left.
VARIATIONS: None

NAME: Numbers (a.k.a. Ting-a-Ling; Molotov)
TYPE: Counting
NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 4-8
INITIAL DEAL: five cards to each player and seven down cards on the table.
PLAY: A card on the table is turned over. Anyone with that card in their hand must discard them from their hand. There is then a betting round which starts with the player to the left of the dealer and then rotates clockwise each round thereafter. After this, play alternates between turning up cards and betting rounds. If a card which is turned up is already up on the table, then it is discarded and the top card from the deck replaces it. This card must also be unique or more cards will be used from the deck, thus guaranteeing that seven different cards will be thrown out. If anyone loses all his cards, they win the pot. After all cards have been turned up and the last betting round, each player must declare high, low or both.
RANK OF HANDS: High and low are determined by point totals, with cards being their face value, face cards being ten and aces being one or fifteen (thus allowing for the both option).
VARIATIONS:
- Florida BINGO!- Face cards are equal to ten OR 1 point. Aces are equal to fifteen OR ½ point.

NAME: Screw Your Neighbor (a.k.a. There Can Be Only Juan )
TYPE: Other
NUMBER OF PLAYERS: Up to 51 ???
INITIAL DEAL: One down to all players.
PLAY: All players place three stacks of chips in front of them, value of stacks set by dealer. Highest card is a King and lowest card is an Ace. Object is not to have the lowest card in the round and be the last player with a stack of chips left. Players decide whether they want to keep their card or trade with the person to their left. Starting the option with the player to the left of the dealer, that player may trade his card with the player to his left who MUST relinquish his card. If the player being forced to give up his card has a King, he can turn over his King as a "stopper. The player wanting to trade his card is stuck with his card unable to trade. The option to trade cards goes to each player till it comes around to the dealer. The dealer may trade with the deck if he chooses. After all trading is done, everyone exposes their card. Player with the lowest card loses one stack of chips to the pot. Redeal. In the event of a tie for lowest card, those players who tied must throw in a stack of chips. Once you lose all your stacks you are out of the game.
WINNER: Last player with a stack of chips wins the pot.
VARIATIONS:
- Screw the Dealer- If the player to the dealer's left has a King he can turn it up as a "stopper" and prevent the dealer from trading with the deck.
- As game progresses rotate the starting player one to the left so the option to trade with the deck rotates players also.
- When down to two players, the last player has an advantage-- if the first player exchanges with him, he knows what all the cards in the game are and can make a more informed decision. To cancel this advantage, when only two players are left the second player can't look at his card until after the first player has chosen to exchange or hold. If the first player exchanges with the second player and takes a King, the first player loses since he took a stopper.
- Option to above. Allow both players to exchange from the deck. If the second player has a stopper he can prevent the first player from drawing.

NAME: Between the Sheets (a.k.a Acey Deucy; In-between)
TYPE: Other
NUMBER OF PLAYERS: Unlimited
INITIAL DEAL: Two cards up in center of table.
PLAY: Each player decides if the top card from the deck will lie between the two cards on the table and wagers any amount up to matching the pot. If he wins, he takes that money from the pot. If it's the whole pot, then the game is over. If a player loses then his bet goes into the pot. If the two table cards are consecutive in rank (no possibility of winning) a minimum bet is required (usually the ante). To build the pot the max bet for the first two rounds is the ante.
WINNER: Game ends when a player matches the pot and wins.
VARIATIONS:
- If the top deck card matches either table card then the player's losing bet is doubled to the pot.

NAME: 99
TYPE: Other
NUMBER OF PLAYERS: Up to 12 comfortably (can have more)
INITIAL DEAL: Three cards down to players.
PLAY: Players place a stack of chips in front of them, amount set by dealer. Play is similar to UNO, you don't want to go over 99. Points are added by discarding into the pile and drawing from the deck. Each player says aloud the total points after discarding. If a player fails to pick up a card before another player discards and picks up, that player must finish the game with two cards. Face cards are 10, aces are 1. The following special cards affect the game: 4 - reverse the order, point total stays the same, 9 - counts as zero points, 10 - counts as negative 10, king - forces the total up to 99. When a player cannot play a card without going over 99, they forfeit their stack of chips and are out. The game continues until only one person is left. When the deck gets low the dealer reshuffles the discards.
WINNER: Last person with a stack takes whole pot.
VARIATIONS: None.
