Ordinator's Unreal Tournament Editor Scale Converter.

Why do conversions?

Well if you want to build a level to a semi scale, or dead on scale, you'll need this tutorial.

Some helpful conversions:

 To Convert  Into  Multiply By
 inches  centimeters  2.54
 feet  centimeters  30.480
 feet  meters  0.3048
 miles  kilometers  1.6093
 centimeters  inches  0.3937
 millimeters  inches  0.0394
 meters  inches  39.37
 meters  feet  3.2808

Now that you know the conversions if necessary, then you can continue to the math part. It's not hard, I did all the
hard work for you already. All you have to do is to plug in the numbers to their respective place.

A normal door is 128 UU. A UU is an Unreal Editor Unit. So now knowing this information, you can proceed to the next step.

So then, 128 approx.= 7ft. In UED from a side view of the door, it will take up eight blocks.

(This example is 128x128)

So now we know: 8 blocks = 7ft. or 2.1336 meters. To then find out what 10 feet, 3.048 meters, would be we'd have this formula:

 8 blocks = 7ft | 8 blocks = 2.1336 meters
X = 10ft | X = 3.048 meters

So now we have the basics for the next step.

 8 = 7feet  8 = 2.1336
7/8 = 10/X 2.136/8 = 3.048/X
7X = 80 0.2667 = (intentionally left blank)
X = 80/7  X = 3.048/0.2667
X = 11.4  X = 11.4

So now, we have a numer for blocks. Then we use this next formula:

 X blocks * 16 = Y Ued Units.

So then we'd have this: 11.4 * 16 = 182.4

Then you'd add it in the UED brush building. Your done! Wasn't that easy? Questions on this? EMAILme. (you have to remove ".nograb" part)
