Bloody Murder

My Rating:

How can a film that is a blatant out and out rip-off of Friday The 13th be good you say when it is NO NUDITY, HARDLY ANY LANGUAGE, AND NO GORE WHAT SO EVER? Fuck if I know but it happened. I actually liked this low budget film. This is actually a film that could have been rated PG-13 but it wasn't because MPAA are assholes. This film is so low budget, I think it was a camp project to see how they can advertise there camp in the form of a movie the best. But anyway, let's get to the story.

Ok, there is an old legend of Trevor Moorhouse (Jason Voorhees) who has a chainsaw for a hand (Evil Dead anyone) He dresses like Jason, looks like Jason and tries to be JASON but alas, he aint no Jason. Now it is the same basic story, 4 teens go to a camp to become counselors before the camp begins, they are setting everything up to get ready for the campers (EXACTLY like Friday the 13th!) and of course they play a game called BLOODY MURDER of which a few years back, a camper was killed while playing it. Well, when they are playing Bloody murder, the character named "JASON" disappears and the next day he is assumed the killer when another camp counselor disappears. More and more people disappear and we have a cop who is wearing baby blue pants trying to solve it. Alot of cops wear that in hick town, we can'ts affords thems fancy pants. This film was far from good, I mean the acting was shitty, the gore was goreless, and there are ALOT of Plotholes. But some how, I actually enjoyed this crappy film. I really did. Don't know why I just did.

I say, if you see BLOODY MURDER in your store, try it out, just don't be expecting anything original or bloody, or boobified, or vulgar...or just about anything. Look at it...as a brochure to Camp Anakant (I think that was the name)
