Kristian Alfonso was born in Brockton, Massachesetts, on September 5th, 1964. As she was growing up, she started to develop an interest in Ice Skating and Dancing. When she was 13 years old, she won the Junior Olympics. She felt that she will be a strong contender in the up coming olympics. But that dream was broken, when she had and injury on a toboggan ride, and was forced to give up Ice Skating and Dancing. Kristian was so sad at that time. At the age of 15, she started modeling at the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency. After a while, Kristian thought it was time to find a new adventure, so this time, she chose acting. At the tender age of 16, she stared in the NBC movie, The Starmaker, opposite Rock Hudson. When she finished the movie, she was asked to audition for the role of Hope Williams Brady on the long time running series, Days of our Lives. Kristian refused the offer because she wasn't ready to leave home and move to Los Angeles. In 1983, Kristian was again asked to audition for the role, but his time she was more confidant and ready to leave home. When she was doing her screen test, she accidentally tripped and fell down the Horton stairs. Poor Kristian thought that she blow this opportunity. But Kristian was OK, and she eventually got the job. Kristian has been on Days' since 1983. She also left and came back to Days' 3 times. Recenty, Kristian renewed her contract till 2004!!!
