Why You Need Tools
Tools are a necessary part of programming.
In real life a single tool, such as a hammer or a saw, is not enough to accomplish all
tasks. So it is in programming, eventually the editor alone will not be enough to get the
whole job done.
At times such as this you will need to
supplement your language with other programming tools, such as an installer, a GUI builder
or a helpfile creator. That is the focus of this section - tools to make you job
easier.
The nature of Liberty Basic is one of low cost,
high return. Because of this expectation (and because I am generally cheap myself) I
try to focus on tool sets that are free or of similar low cost.
I Hope you find the list helpful. If you know of
a really great tool that I might like to include, please let me know. I don't
promise to include all suggestions, but I will try to be fair. Email me at bjaz.moore@verizon.net - thanks. |
