Game of Love

“You can stay longer, can’t you?”

Those husky words were accompanied by a small nibble of the ear, and a ticklish giggle bubbled up her throat. Softly pulling away, she locked her gaze with his as an evident smile curled up her crimson lips stained with gloss. She let a hand trail down the man’s head, down to his neck, as she put on a thoughtful expression.

      “Oh…I don’t know…”

Fingers were replaced by lips as she let her lips slide over the sensitive skin of his neck as she whispered those words, tickling his flesh with her tingly breath. After devouring the sensation of her lips tracing his skin, the man pulled her up from the current position she was in to engulf her in a sensuous kiss. After exploring each other’s mouth cavities, this time he pulled back, those eyes clouded with lust capturing hers.

      “We have tomorrow off…”

He placed a nibbling kiss on the corner of her mouth as he murmured so. Her fingers lingered in his hair, a semi-smug expression upon her face as she gazed into his eyes as they were raised to meet hers. The cloud of desire in their eyes was mutual, although it was more visible in his than hers. The smile painted onto her lips was still present.

      “Mm…I know. But maybe I should study…just in case…”

Placing a hand on his clothed chest, she pushed back a little, putting herself a foot’s length away from him as she set her hand below her chin and shifting her line of sight to his textbooks scattered on his desk. After a brief moment, a grin matching hers appeared on his features as he reached a hand across to drape on her shoulder.

“Save my soul. You? Study? You never study. You don’t need to, Miss Top-of-the-Class.”

With a playful shove, he saw that she collapsed and sat upon the bed. He quickly followed, sitting himself in between her legs with graceful ease. His grin grew more as he noted the taken aback expression upon her face come and go.

      “Don’t flatter me so.”

Light laughter drifted from those red lips as she slid her arms around his neck, pulling him down on top of her as her back met the surface of the bed. Smiling up at him, she let her fingers play with strands of his hair as he lowered his head to seal her lips with his own in a soft kiss.

“You know I do it out of love.”

Even if you whisper,
“I love you so.”
And I whisper back,
“I love you too.”

I already know in my heart,
That none of these words hold true.

It didn’t take long for him to rid her of most of her clothes. Now all that remained was her bra and underwear. Her hands weren’t idle either. They had busily worked their way to strip him of his shirt and loosen his belt.

Skin to Skin.
Doesn’t mean
Soul to Soul.

Strip down from all earthly confines,
There’s always shackles of the soul.

Soon those pieces of garments were shred from her body. He greedily tasted her skin and left marks of his possession in his trail. Pale scarlet flowers bloomed upon her smooth skin as he worked his prize. Sweet sighs escaped her lips as she let her fingers dance upon the surface of his bare back.

Let the cherry blossoms bloom upon the white snow,
Smell the sweet scent of her honeysuckle breath.

Finally, every shred of thread and cloth was relieved from the both of them. Fingers danced, tongues sang, limbs intertwined. Ragged music composed by two working as one filled the air along with the faint scent of sweat that could only come from the process originally created for the purpose of human survival.

There’s no need for
“I love you.”
Just ride the wave and come with me,
“Give me ecstasy.”

Taste of blood spread through his mouth as he bit down onto her shoulder. The feeling of her nails digging into his back was clear – more sensational than painful. Both minds clouded by the fog of pleasure as they moved in rugged rhythm with each other. After what seemed an eternity, both bodies went rigid, and a moment later two voices intertwined in the room louder than before.

A field of pure white overtakes the system
Then it cracks and shatters,
Scattering cascading pieces everywhere like glass.

The dim moonlight caught the faint trail of smoke rising from the cigarette in the dark room. The ruffling of cloth was heard along with the inhaling and exhaling of the smoker. Another shadow rose from the bed besides the smoker sitting at the edge of the bed. It slid off the bed with a cat-like grace, showing off its lithe figure in the moonlight. There was more rustling of cloth.

Moment passed in the dark, and soon enough the cigarette was taken from his lips to situate itself in between her lips. Inhaling, she took in the scent of menthol, then exhaled the smoke out of her lungs. Returning the cigar to its owner, she smiled – still that same smile on those cherry red lips. Bending down, she places a light kiss on his forehead. Then she rose, stretching, and headed for the door. Upon her departure and closing of the door, she left these words:

“I’ll see you next month.”

Even if you whisper,
“I love you so.”
And I whisper back,
“I love you too.”

I already know in my heart,
That none of these words hold true.

It’s only a game…
