Lions lose 31-7 to Carolina

The Detroit Lions season is gradually getting worse as the Lions record went to 0-2 after they lost 31-7 to the Carolina Panthers. after a start like the Lions have had, it is looking increasingly likely that the Lions are going to continue on the road that they traveled on last year when they went 2-14. they are currently now 0-2 as they couldn't put anything together on offence as they frequently got into the Carolina Panthers Half but they got down there and penalties sacks and just plain simple dropped balls forced them to punt. Mike McMahon also threw an Interception which was returned for a 40 yard touchdown, the one high that the Lions had was when Mike McMahon scrambled on a bootleg 11 yards for a touchdown making the score 10-7 but from that point the Defense let them through the Offense threw an interception and basically looked as they had given up completely. The Lions get a chance to rebound next week as The Packers visit the Lions as Ford Field with a 4:15 kick-off, Hopefully the Lions may be able to capitalise on the Green Bay Packers loss to the New Orleans Saints but the Packers will be looking for a win to rebound from that loss as the final score was 35-20. Can the panthers improve there 0-2 start we shall soon see as next week it is Green Bay at Detroit.
