
Guilds:
Weaver & Tanner Guild: Makes Clothes, renders hides, makes boots, teaches Aristo women how to embrioder, etc. Creates covers, rugs, tapestries, etc.
Farming Guild: Provides Foods & Herbs, Basic Healing, Cares for the Land. Cares for the Gardens. Provides raw plant material for other guilds.
Distillation Guild: Makes Alcohol, Hosts Parties.
Mining & Smithing Guild: Mines things, Makes Jewelry & Tools.
Masonry Guild: Builds Houses and Buildings. Also expert and destroying things.
Ranks:
Apprentice: Level One - First Rank, no time to attain. Does Craft Drudgery along w/ schooling.
Journeyman: Level Two - Second Rank, 2-3 years to attain. Travels around Lorna offering advice and help.
Master: Level Three - Third Rank, 6-9 years to attain. Stationed at Territory Capitols to offer advice and help to the Aristos.
Adept: Level Four - Highest Rank, 10-13 years to attain. Stays at the BondHall and teaches, along with "running" the guild. Cares for the most important knowledge and objects of their craft, provides for the Bonded.
When a commoner is approached by a Drake and given a pass to the hall and fails to Bond with a Keltoi after 1 season, s/he automatically becomes an Apprentice in a guild of thier choice, unless they return home.
When a student has gone through all of the basic courses he becomes a journeyman.
When a jouneyman has spent a certain amount of time on circuit he becomes a master.
A master only becomes an Adept when the old adept is dead or retired, and then he's voted on.
