House Raina was, at the begining, like all other Aristo Houses, but the forced pact angered them to the point of swearing revenge. Since then, strength has been literally bred into the family. The most common way to gain rank is to kill those who had the rank you wished. As such, every male member of the House Raina took up a sign to show they were the one who shot the arrow or hired the assassin. They also each have a single, personal 'signature' poison.

Those of the house do not even mind dying, very often, as a student will often kill his master in the end or a child would kill his father. And yet, they continue training the next generation to be even more deadly with fanatical commitment. They feel that their color, a deep blood red, along with their emblem, a flame yellow phoenix over a blood red background, is a perfect reminder of their sacred goal, the extermination of the Bondfolk.

However, the training and goals of the House Raina are not known to even the commoners they rule. The ways of the Raina stay with the Raina.

Facial Structure: Harsh featers that everyone who truly knows him has learned to fear. He can, if necessary, look like any other Aristo through his bearing and demeanor but he still looks very aggressive like all other Raina.

Hobby: Fencing and chess because he likes to. Poetry, reading and music because it is expected of all Aristo.

Personality: Lord Cedrick has a twisted sense of honor and a very brutal way of enforcing it. For example, he can kill someone for swearing in front of a child. In public, he shows a regal and aristocratic personality, but it is only used to hide his true self which is truly atrocious. He doesn't actually like to do all the atrocities he commits, but his warped sense of honor perceives them as necessary.

Talents: As most people of his house, Cedrick is horribly good at assassination and surviving assassination attempts. His specific skills include knowledge of poisons and combat, both armed and unarmed, along with very good situational analysis skills.

Lord Kamil:

Sex: Male

Age: 74

Height: 5'8"

Weight: 150 lbs

Appearance: He is compact. He used to be muscular, but age has lessened it a bit. He has a pale olive complexion and dresses in finely cut clothes that still lend him mobility and plenty of places to hide weapons.

Personality: His body might have lost effectiveness with age, but his mind has only become sharper as he has gotten older. A very no-nonsense kind of man, he is a bit sullen these days because of the rumors of him still being in power only because Cedrick doesn't want the job.

Things of Note: Lord Kamil was born to one of the lesser branches of the family. He has very quickly attracted attention with his masterful wielding of blades of all types and has been the instructor of all blade skills for most of the last generation of Raina swords masters. Stories of his battle with the previous Lord of the house are still, to this day, used to explain the intricacies of swordsmanship. It is said that, after his ascension to lordship, his only student was Cedrick, the second child of his third marriage. His current wife is the former wife of Cedrick's former Lord.
