This page is a directory to various compositions and poems written by my grandfather (Arthur Matthews) during the time of his military service in the 1930s and 1940s. During this time he served in the Middle East and France, before being discharged as a result of injuries sustained when his tank was hit during the Dunkirk evacuation.
