TELETEXT.CO.UK
Here's the obligatory link to the official homepage of UK Teletext. Not a terribly exciting
site, but it might help outsiders understand what it's all about.
SUPER PAGE 58 / MR BIFFO
Digitiser is dead. Paul Rose has left. Console yourself here. RIP, Digi.
BUBBLEGUN.COM
And from Paul Rose, Bubblegun.com is one of the funniest sites I know. Unfortunately, it
seems to have stopped updating. Typical.
THE FRAMLEY EXAMINER
A spoof newspaper, set around the village of Framley, with regular features from Whoft, Wripple
and Molford St Malcolm. Surreally excellent.
THE SIMPSONS ARCHIVE
Few would argue against The Simpsons being one of the greatest things ever. This is the
best site for us serious Simpsons freaks. Just look at those FAQs!
ESCTODAY.COM / WHOOPS! DRAGOVIC
These two sites are the ultimate resources for all your Eurovision Song Contest needs. ESCtoday.com will
keep you up-to-date with contest news, while Whoops! Dragovic takes an irreverent look at all things Eurovision.
UK GAMESHOW PAGE
An absorbing guide to the world of UK gameshows. Endlessly fascinating.
FRIENDS REUNITED
Put your name on the list for your old school - soon you'll be in touch with all your old friends.
And no, I don't work for them, it's just rather good.
ENTLANG DER GRENZE
This English-speaking Dutch site is so bizarre and somewhat sad that it's actually quite
brilliant. For an inexplicable reason, it's rather exciting. This site is very
temperamental - some days it's there, others it's not. If the link's broken, don't blame me!
GOING UNDERGROUND
From my home here in North Worcestershire, the London Underground seems a distant and mythical
phenomenon. Nevertheless, I find this site highly amusing!
THE STRAIGHT DOPE
Is it possible for someone to be tickled to death? Why is tennis scoring so weird? Is Einstein's brain kept in a bottle in a small-town doctor's office near Kansas City? Forget Smarties, only The Straight Dope has the answer to all these questions and, naturally, thousands more.
