Hi my name is Maureen and this is my first web page. I live in
New York City. September 11, 2001 started like any other
day for me. I was having a cup of coffee and put on my PC,
it was such a beautiful day. My boyfriend, Ron Koehler, and
I talk each morning on Yahoo messenger...he told me there
was a huge hole in the Twin Towers and it was on fire!
I immediately put on my TV and I couldn't believe what
I was watching. As I watched I was talking at the same
time with him. Then, out of nowhere, came another plane
and it hit the second Tower. I then realized America
was being attacked! I felt so many different emotions
going through me all at once. I saw the panic in the streets,
heard people yelling and saw people crying, tears began to
fill my eyes. As we were talking, the first Tower
started to collapse, I remember feeling so helpless
knowing thousands of people were dying. Then the second
Tower collapsed, I could see the panic in the
streets and I just couldn't believe that this
was happening in America! I think it was at
that time I first became inspired to make this page.
I hope my page inspires and comforts all those
who lost loved ones on that day! I especially want to
thank the Firefighters, Policemen, Construction
Workers and all those who helped save lives
that day! I want to thank all our
Military who are fighting for our freedom.
I also want to thank Ron,whom I love
very much, for helping me with this page.
Let us Never Forget September Eleven!
God Bless all who visit this page!
