(listed on revised syllabus, 1/04/05)
1)
All pages must be kept in a 1” (or more, but not less) binder used
exclusively for Social Studies. 2)
The notebook will have 5 (five) Sections, kept in this order:
Notes, Blast Offs, Current Events, DBQs, Tests/Quizzes. 3)
Students are responsible for keeping EVERY class assignment in their
binders, even if they are absent! 4)
Each section must be marked by a divider and labeled. These can be
purchased or hand-made. 5)
Each section will have a separate Table of Content. 6)
Each Table of Content must be filled in neatly with the same color ink
(blue or black only). 7)
Each page must have its page number written in the center of the bottom
of the page. Each new section will be numbered separately. (This means that
the first page in every section will be page 1) 8)
Notebooks will be collected twice each marking period. Notebook checks
may be announced or surprised. 9) Updated lists of each Table of Content will be kept in the classroom and on my web site (http://www.freewebs.com/nagournj/toc.htm). 10) This grade counts for 5% of a student’s quarter average.
