Schools
Germantown High School - The main school of the game, where most the characters go to learn. It's campus is 1.5 square mile(s) in size, with 6 buildings (currently the main (A) and office (V) are destroyed), and two gyms, as well as a football field and a baseball field. The school has 2500 students, most of them are the rich preppy sort, but the 'outcasts' (geeks, freaks, goths, etc) look out for each other as the preps backstab each other.
Kirby High School - Kirby is the rival school of Germantown High. The students aren't as rich as Germantown, the geeks aren't as geeky, so they're kinda the middle ground type. Their campus is smaller than Germantown, .8 square mile(s), and it is comprised of one building, one end ending with the gym, the other ending with a green house. The school holds 1500 students.
Houston High School - This is the rival of both Germantown and Kirby, and is easily the preppiest school in the area. There is NO ONE here that doesn't drive a BMW and wear the most high in fashion clothing... it's literally the snobbiest school around. Even the 'geeks' are snobs. This school is 1.8 square mile(s) in size, comprised of 4 buildings linked together by sky sidewalks and domed walkways.
Outlying Areas
Orange Mound - One of the most dangerous areas of the city, gangs run this area with an iron fist. It was once a beautiful place like Beale Street, but after the gangs took it over, it became known as the 'Crime Alley' (from Batman) of the real world.
Collierville - A small country town with very friendly people, but that's about it. They have a farmer's market and a small carnival on the square, which is a host for the town's business and restraunts (Tavern on the Square being one of the best!). It's a nice place to go to relax.
Memphis - Memphis is known as the home of Elvis Presley and as the birth place of the blues. An interesting piece of trivia about Graceland, Elvis's home, is that it is the second most visited house in the country - behind the White House in Washington, D.C. May is a special time of year here when the International Barbecue contest honors a specific country each year. Don't forget to travel down Beale Street and listen to some of the worlds best blues bands perform W.C. Handy. Whatever your reason for visiting we are sure you will find something a little extra while you are here.
Parks
Plough Park - Near Cordova, this enormous park, with two lakes (Patriot Lake being the most famous, where rowboats can be taken out daily, and on the 4th of July, fireworks are shot over it) a few creeks, tons of forest, horse riding trails, biking trails, hiking trails, a bison pen, has plenty to do. Most outdoor shows are here, because of the nearbye Agricultural Center. It's open til 12 AM.
Germantown Municipal - Nowhere near as large as Plough park, Germantown Municipal is home to the Horse shows, as well as the annual events of the Germantown High Spring Festival, and Oktoberfest. It has biking trails, hiking trails, a small creek, and horse riding trails. It's open til 11 pm.
