January 3rd, 2000 started as a normal day. That was until 3rd period when the cafeteria kitchen exploded, and a few curious teenagers snuck in to find that strange, black, incorporeal beings had appeared, and supposedly had killed the people in there. The creatures then turned their eyes on the teens, save for one who they completely ignored, allowing her to attempt to call the police. After fighting to near exhaustion, they beat the creatures into silver goo and fled, regrouping outside, the wounded being tended to by a strange man with a Scottish accent.

A terrible sound echoed through the school campus, the sound of a thousand subwoofers being torn apart by a single noise. This noise caused an earthquake which knocked them to the ground. As soon as it was over, the group decided they had to hurry and get away from the cafeteria, lest anything else happen. Going across campus to the V building to rest, only there did they find a strange tear in reality, where upon rather primitive testing (throwing books in, for example) did they find that it lead to either another time, another place, or even another universe.

Even though they thought the threat was over, they soon discovered the black things had formed a 'shell' over the building to trap them. In an attempt to find a way to escape, they tried to run to the roof only to be caught by a 'nest' of the black creatures. Already heavily injured, one of them transformed into what could best be described as their 'Id', and with renewed vitality, assisted the others in destroying the last of the creatures.

The group then moved out of the campus area, the main (A) building of the school flattening under the damage that the creatures had caused, the office (V) building going next. The wounded were taken to the home of Rachel Jordan, the unwounded went their seperate ways, possibly home. Because of their actions, winter vacation has been extended.

..

Recently, after a few 'Generator' attacks, the group has slowly become closer, now the ones without homes staying at Rachel Jordan's rather large estate, where antics insue daily. But a rivalry has sprung up between the kind young woman, and the new student from St. Louis, CJ Williams, as he subconciously seems to challenge her for who truly is a savior of Germantown, and who really is a wannabe.
