Prologue
My name is Brittany S. people usually call me britt. dan calls me britt-britt. i call him danny. me and dan have been best friends since...forever. we met eachother when i moved next door to him. he has been like a brother to me. it was in 8th grade that he confessed he loved me. i loved him too. we became boyfriend and girlfriend. we had even more fun then we used to have. playing basketball, hanging out, going out on dates, snuggling. we did everything together. everyone thinks we're the greatest couple. we have always supported each other. we just discovered we harmonize great together when we sing too. dan has the sexiest voice ever, and mine goes nicely with it. but anyways...
chapter 1
me and dan were outside, playing basketball. it was a nice day, and the start of summer. next year, we were going into 10th grade. tomorrow would be our 2nd year anniversary. i couldn't wait. dan said he was going to do something really special. he's such a romatic guy. i couldn't wait to see what he had up his sleeve. i was waiting for my parents to get home. they both run a restaurant, called "snyders." i was getting kind of anxious, since they were an hour late and hadn't heard from them at all. usually, if they're staying later, they call and tell me, but they didn't call me so i figured they'd be home within the hour. ‘do u wanna go do something else now?" "sure danny." "let's go swimming britt-britt." "ok. ll meet you at your house in five minutes dan." i went upstairs and put on my new bikini it was..kinda.. revealing. i came outside. when dan came out...all he could manage to say was "wow." i laughed. "danny, i'm kind of scared something happened to my parents. they aren't home yet, and they told me they'd be home by 4:00." it was now 6:00. "that's strange britt-britt. don't worry about it, they're probably just working a little later." dan always knew how to calm me down, but this time, it didn't really work. i had a strange feeling, something really bad happened.
chapter 2
I got by the pool and dan suddenly picked me up and threw me in the pool. he always did that. it was fun. we had a splash war and he put on his shoulders and swam around. "ok, maybe i should call them now." "yeah, maybe you should." dan came with me to my house. i just dialed the number, when i heard the doorbell ring. i hung up and answered it. i opened it and found this tall man in a black suit. he was kinda weird looking. "are you brittany snyders?" he asked me. "yes." i replied. "i have some very bad news." "what is it?" said dan. "˜brittany, your parents were shot at 6:00 today." "oohhhhh nooo....."i trailed off and fainted.
chapter 3
i can't remember what happened from that time to now. i woke up in bed somewhere with danny by my side. "˜britt-britt? are you ok?" "what? where am i? danny??" "britt, this may be hard for you, but your parents were killed today. you're in the hospital. you fainted." i sat up and started crying uncontrollably. dan hugged me tightly. "everything's going to be alright. i promise." finally, i stopped crying after like, what seemed to be an hour. a nurse came in with a wheel chair and said i could go home. dan's mom came in and said she was going to take me home and i'd stay at their house for the night. when we got home, mrs.miller said that she was so sorry about my parents. "˜your aunt and uncle snyder are going to have you move down to orlando with them in their home and you'™ll stay with them. where you'll attend school and everything." "why can't she stay here with us mom?" asked danny. "˜i wish she could, but she needs to be with family. after dinner, dan and i went to my house to pack everything up because i had a flight to orlando tomorrow. i was so depressed. i wanted to stay with dan. when i'm with him, everything's great. "britt, let's make a pact that we won't see anyone untill we see eachother again." "ok." so we made a pact of love.
chapter 4
we went back to his house. i took a shower then went into dan's room. dan came in and kissed me. it was already 12 pm. "happy anniversary babe."™ said danny. he haded me a box. i opened it and inside was a locket. i opened it. inside, was a picture of me and dan. on the back, inscribed was: I'll Be Forever Your's, Love Always, Danny. i kissed dan long and passionately for a long time. then, I guess i fell asleep in his arms because when i woke up, he was holding me tightly. i gave him a soft his. he instantly woke up. "danny, what if we never see eachother again?" "we will, i just know it. "before i knew it, we were at the airport and i was waiting any minute for my flight to be called. dan gave a a long kiss, and hug and then my flight was called. we said our goodbyes..and just hoped we’d see eachother again.
chapter 5
i boarded the plane and we took off. i went in my bag to get my cd player and cds when i found a few things. first, a little book. i opened it up and inside were a ton of me and dan's pictures..from when we were little, to now. then i found a cd. it was labled, "our music." i put it in my cd player and i heard a song wesung together. the whole cd was of our faveorite songs. that he sang, and some that i sang with him. i knew dan was really special to me. i hoped we'd see eachother again, get married, and start a family.
