Chapter 1: Making Friends

"Mom do i really have to go ?" Asked 12-year-old Erik.
"Yes, honey, I am afraid so." Said Mrs. Estrada. "But Mom, i dont know anyone."
"Erik, we dont have time to talk now, your gonna miss the bus. I'll be here, so when you need me, just call."

*~on the way to the bus stop~* Erik thought Well, Mounatin View Middle School doesn't sound so bad, and they do have a nice chior, well that i have heard......... then he got interrupted,"Hi, you must be new, I'm Amanda, I live down the street from you." She said politely.

Erik thought again,WOW, man is she hot he thought while checking her out, then got interrupted again, "Hello?" she asked. "Oh, sorry, I'm Erik-Michael, Erik for short." "Well hi, and you can call me Manda." she said shaking his hand.

"Do you need help getting around here??" Manda asked. "Uh, yeah, could you help me?" he asked shyly. "Sure, can i see your schedule?" *he handed it to her* "Well it looks like we have all the same classes together". She said. Her hazel eyes are so beautiful. She's perfect, perfect body, hair, everything. he thought.

*~At school~*

"So, your in chior" Erik asked. "Yeah, its not the best, and i'm not that good, and the teacher is kinda cocky. But she is very welcoming."she smiled. He smiled back. Manda thought dang, he is FINE i am glad that we have honor chior tryouts today, he would hear me..........perfect. He is so CUTE!!

She did tryout and make it. He thought she was wonderful.

*~the next day~*

"Why hello there" Amanda said coming up to him. "Oh hi, Manda, I checked out the music and Mrs, Fasio gave me some tapes, i know all the songs. I think i am ready to tryout." "Really?" "Yup" "well good luck." Erik made it too.

They became best friends. They did everything together. They even started to go out.

"Ms. Drake, Mr. Estrada!!" Mrs. Pfeffen yelled, "That's it no more playing around, lunch detention, both of you!" they giggeld. *at lunch* "sorry for getting you in trouble." Erik said. "Oh, its not ur fault." Amanda said.

Days, Weeks, Months, and Years past by, and the day of high school graduation, Erik had to tell Amanda something. They were both successful with music, that's how they got their scholarships. "Amanda, i have to talk to you.""And i have to talk to you Erik." Erik went.

"Um, remember when i signed up for that one music program, in september? Well, i made it" "oh baby!! Congratulations!!" Amanda said, kissing him. "WHy aren't you happy", Amanda said. "4 other people around the country did too, and J records heard us-separatly- so they have to hear us together, and then we make a TV show about it. And I have to leave, in two days........"

Amanda felt her smile fade, and tears well up, "I am moving, and they wont let me brong anyone with me. I'm sorry."
But Manda felt strong, and said "I have to be strong, I am gonna support you. but, you have to promise me....."
"What, anything"
"Be with me forever."
"I promise."

Years went by, with no phone calls, no letters, no contact. "ERIK MAN LISTEN TO THIS!!!!!!" Trevor yelled. "WHAT!!!!??????"
Cause your everywhere to me So tell me do you see meeeeeeeeeeeee

"And that was Amanda Drake, rising star with Everywhere at the number 1 spot on the TRL weekend countdown"

"OMG I know her!!" Erik said surprisingly!"
