Prologue
it was the day of the prom and Melissa couldn’t help by getting all excited but she did anyway. It was her junior year. Melissa was going with her brother Ashley because he asked her to. The only reason Ashley asked her to go is because he didn’t have a g/f at the time even though he was the most popular guy in school. Just a few months ago Ashley got offered a six yr contract with jive records along with four other guys his father didn’t agree with this at all he said he would disown Ashley if he accepted the contract, which put a lot of pressure on him. but Ashley accepted the contract anyway. Chapter One
Ashley was on a television show along with his new best friends Jacob, Erik, Dan, and Trevor. Melissa his sister was stuck all alone at home, stuck with her parents in blame of Ashley’s decision just because she suggested that he should do what was in his heart. Melissa was thinking and all of a sudden the phone rings, she gets up off her bed and answer the phone on her desk next to the computer in her room. Melissa hears a deep male voice that sounded familiar but couldn’t make it out so she said who is this and the voice said Ashley, Melissa screamed “OMG” Ashley I can’t believe it’s you I was just thinking about you. Ashley went so what have you been up to in reply Melissa said nothing much, so how are things going with mom and dad he asked? Melissa said not so well we fight all the time I wish there was just some way to get out she said Ashley went why? Just because mom and dad have been blaming me for you joining in the band I told them that I also wanted to be a singer and they totally blew me off royally I also miss you being around. Their conversation went on for hours when missy’s mother walked in and saw caller id and said so how long have you and ash been talking missy and her mother and ash all got along most of the time. Melissa said oh hi mom for about two hours at the most would you like to talk to him and she went sure her mother left the room with the phone and Melissa got onto the computer. When she got on she saw that her friend Andrea was on and immediately instant messaged her and told what ash and she had talked about her friend went “HOLY SHIT” you’ve got to be kidding me. Ash talked to mom about their plan he would have Melissa come down to live with him and go to school in Florida and when he goes on tour she was to go with him and be homed schooled personally his mother did not like the idea but told him whatever Melissa wants to do is fine by me but I won’t be paying for the plane ticket so you will have to since Melissa wasn’t old enough to have a job at the time. Ashley went fine by me and told his mother to give Melissa the good news.
Chapter Two
On the plane to Florida to where she would meet Ash, Melissa was bored out of her mind she had brought along many things to do but she got bored of them all except for her portable compact disc player, which the batteries had died. Finally Melissa screamed as the plane landed and she stepped off the plane to only see no one but her loving brother Ash, which ran up to and picked her up and just held her there until she screamed Ash your hurting me “oh sorry” he said as he descended her to the floor. Hey Missy the guys are out at the car they can’t wait to meet you ok Melissa said but you have to get my bags first don’t worry they are not that heavy at least not to me she said jokingly and punched him in the arm and ran over to where her bags would be she picked up two and left one for Ash, which was the lightest and said gee I hope that’s not to heavy for you Ash and the ran out to the parking lot found her way to the car with Ash chasing after her yelling “WAIT UP” with a quizzical look on his face. Melissa just looked back and laughed and kept on running until she reached the van where all the guys were sitting they all hopped out to help. And noticed she had two bags and Ash only had one they all ran up to Ashley and said why so slow bro what is it too heavy for you Ash no not really I’m just tired she made me chase after her all the way out and through the parking lot. Jacob said with a sly smirk on his face so Melissa how old are you well I’m going on 17 she said with a flirtatious smile on her face Jacob gave the same exact look back and Ashley went hey man lay off my sister. Melissa then gave him a sharp look, meant for him to shut up and that he did. Melissa I heard you were into music what kinds do you like? Dan asked well Dan I like all types but I like R&B the most he just smiled and said to himself this is going to work out perfectly. Ash went well I’m glad to see you all get along so well he went on from the front seat they all went Shut Up Ash! Ash went fine ok. Just then they pulled up to the house Melissa went man this house is way bigger in real life so which one of you screw heads wants to show me to my room Jacob went I will before the last word came out of her mouth. Melissa went ok fine by me right away Jacob showed her right into his room which was the only extra bed and closet I went great let me guess this is also your room Melissa said he went yep. Jacob great I just met her and I’m already falling bad for her, then he went this can’t be it’s, Ashley’s younger sis if he knew he would get so pissed at me I can’t even imagine what he would do Jacob thought to himself as Melissa was unpacking. Jacob couldn’t stop staring at Melissa he was in deep thought when Melissa suddenly called out JACOB and he snapped out of his thoughts and went what? Finally she sighed what are you thinking about he went oh nothing she said ok and thought to herself he’s thinking about something and I think I have got a clue about what it is.
