Maximum Rock n' Roll
Paper Doll is my first exposure to the post Riot Grrl sound, same venum, but it's hidden behind lots more melody and jangly pop. Heavenly musical sensibility, but slower paced, and a lower tone to the sweet girly-girl vocals.

Washington DC's Paper Doll take a jangly, emo-laden, pop-punk approach to its work on Sink or Swim, the band's sophomore ep. Paper Doll shows plenty of potential on Sink or Swim five tracks, and they're on the right track in nodding toward Sleater Kinney.
HeartAttack
Paper Doll have simple and sugary creations that satisfy your sweet tooth. Much like Tiger Trap, Paper Doll will sweep you up in lullabies and odes to tangled relationships. They capture a certain something that the riot grrl in your heart can't ignore. Their vibe gets right to the heart of it, it is quite honest. I like that about them.
Punk Planet
Paper Doll's lead signer, Kaytee O'Neill, sounds like a younger version of Madder Rose's Mary Lorson. The songs vary from ballad-like to fast-paced pop. Loaded with teenage appeal, this EP is perfect for listening by the river, getting sloshed, and making out.

Washington, DC's Paper Doll fuses Courtney Love's commerical half with her pre-movie star rock phase.
