About Us

Just about everyone skips this page, but we thought we better write something on it so we dont get emails of complaint from the few that actually want to know about us :)

Us really means a group of people. A very small group. In fact, just 2 people lol. One day a very addicted poker player saw that you could now play poker online! He told his friend about this, and they enjoyed many months of losing play-money.

When constant loss of earnings (albeit virtual earnings lol) got boring, these 2 people decided to look for a new place to play poker. They stumbled onto a site that told of the rules of poker, and it also had some very good links. One of these links was Poker Stars.

That happened around October 2001. Since then we've gone on to meet hundreds of nice people (and the odd grumpy person too lol). Playing at Poker Stars is such fun, due to the variation of games, plus their tournaments which run daily. We enjoyed this place so much that we decided it was time to set up a poker community, for poker players world-wide.

So there you have it, that's the story behind Pocket Aces. The forum is still in its early days, but with plenty of support we'll be going places soon! Keep an eye out for Pocket Aces on the web, and enjoy your poker games. Who knows, when (or if) we get bored with Poker Stars, we might just make your local poker place our next project!
